Penn First Term Experience Survey (PFTE) Survey

The PFTE is administered to first-year traditional undergraduate students and was designed concurrently with the Penn Entering Student Questionnaire, enabling comparisons before and after students’ first semester at Penn. Capturing students evolving perceptions at this critical juncture in their undergraduate tenure enables a better understanding of how programs and policies might better support students in reaching their goals.

The survey is available starting January 12, 2026. The closing date is February 12, 2026.

Senior Survey

The Senior Survey is administered to graduating seniors in the latter half of spring semester. This survey collects information about a broad range of topics related to the collegiate experience. Students are asked to provide information about their campus involvement over the span of their collegiate careers, and how their knowledge, skills, and abilities changed as a result of attending Penn. The survey provides an opportunity for participants to register feedback about their satisfaction with Penn services as well as their impression of the quality of campus life. Lastly, participants are asked to provide information about their post-graduation plans with respect to future education and employment plans. The survey is scheduled to launch in April 2026.
